The Women Development Organization (WDO), an affiliated organization of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, extends its sincere congratulations and best wishes to all women of the United Arab Emirates on the commencement of the 2026 Emirati Women’s Day celebrations.
On this occasion, the Organization commends the gracious initiative of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation—the “Mother of the Nation”—who, for the first time, has transformed this celebration into a month-long national programme running from 28 August to 28 September, reflecting the heightened attention accorded to this important occasion.
The Women Development Organization also takes this opportunity to commend the remarkable achievements and significant contributions of Emirati women to the country’s development journey.
On this occasion, the Organization reaffirms its steadfast commitment to supporting and empowering women across the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and to strengthening their participation and role in achieving sustainable development.
